About
A shipowner’s perspective
GasTRPartners is a maritime investment and project development house. It works across a focused range of maritime projects — from vessel acquisition and efficient newbuilds to gas shipping and the technical and commercial management of ships — and its work is grounded in long-standing experience across shipowning, shipbuilding and ship recycling.
The company is led by Erkut Haşmet Savaş, a shipowner of long standing whose career has spanned the full life of a vessel: building a laminated VIP gulet from keel to delivery, managing a ship-recycling yard, and assembling and leading shipyard subcontractor teams across steel, mechanical and piping works.
That first-hand knowledge of how ships are built, maintained and ultimately retired shapes how we assess opportunities, structure projects and run every asset — with clear judgement, technical rigour and a long view.
